My project topic is how the U.N. is trying to pass a treaty that can put the lives of many Americans in danger if it is passed. I wouldn't use a scholarly book for my project on the U.N.. By the time there is a [scholarly book] for my topic, it would probably be irrelevant. because it take a long time to publish, and we don't have a long time to study about the topic decisions on the treaty is coming very soon. A magazine could have a article about the treaty in it but it would be summarized and all the information will not be stated. I should be able to find info on the treaty in a few newspaper articles since the topic is current.   the treaty deals with the government and the entire United States a  government document wouldn't be right for this project until the UN treaty has passed, and it could be in writing because the Government don't create documents before its passed. An encyclopedia is also not useful when it comes to UN topic because that takes a while to be created, and once again, my topic is current. The scholarly journal could not be accurate because it would just be the opinions from over educated people. The internet would be the best option for my topic because the web is fast and it is current from more than one accredited source
